The abstract must be submitted in English.
You are invited to submit abstracts for either oral or poster presentations.
Any registered researcher may submit a maximum of one abstracts as presenting author (no limit as co-author).
The final decision on the presentation type will be made by the Organizing Commitee.
Abstracts may only be submitted online. Abstracts sent by post or email will not be accepted.
Authors will be notified at the email address provided during submission whether their abstract has been accepted as an oral or poster presentation. This confirmation will be avaible also in the account.
Abstracts received after the deadline will not be accepted.

Presentation Types

Oral Communication: 13 minutes for a presentation with an additional 2 minutes for questions.
Poster: Presenters are requested to create their poster with the A0 size (84 cms width x 119 cms height).

Abstract submission guidelines

Prepare your abstract by using this template.
After successful submission of your abstract, you will receive an acknowledgement e-mail.
(?) If you do not receive the acknowledgement e-mail, the abstract cannot be considered as successfully submitted and accepted for evaluation (please check your spam mailbox).
Please make sure that your final version is free of errors prior to starting the submission process. The abstract will be reproduced exactly as submitted.
The presenting author is considered to be the person who registers the abstract and who will be attending and presenting at the ECMM2017 either a poster or oral communication.
If you need to withdraw your abstract please inform us in the contact page.
Presenting authors will be informed about the date, time and form of their presentation by email.
In order for abstracts to be included in the final ECMM 2017 programme, the presenting author must be registered by the deadline date.


Please indicate clearly the registration ID on the bank transfer.
Your registration is not valid until payment has been received.
A copy of proof of payment should be uploaded to the system by selecting the "payment/upload" option.
Early bird payments must be received by the 30th of June 2017.


The Conference organizers cannot accept liability for personal injuries, loss or damage to property belonging to Conference participants (or their accompanying persons), either during or as a result of the Conference. Please check the validity of your own insurance.
Delegates are required to comply with the rules and regulations governing the applicable venue and/or accommodation. The delegates are recommended to insure any property brought onto, or left, at the venue and/or the accommodation as any such propery is brought onto, or left, at the venue at their own risk.
In the event that the ECMM2017 conference cannot be held or is postponed due to events beyond the control of the Conference Organisers or due to events which are not attributable to wrongful intent or gross negligence of the Conference Organisers, the Conference Organisers cannot be held liable by attendees for any damages, costs, or losses incurred, such as transportation costs, accommodation costs, financial losses, or any other indirect losses or consequential damages.
Under these circumstances, the Conference Organisers reserve the right to either retain the entire registration fee and to use it for a future conference, or to reimburse the attendee after deducting costs already incurred for the organisation of the Conference and which could not be recovered from third parties.
